Deke Dickerson compares three early electric guitars at the 2016 Electric Guitar Symposium:
1932 Ro-Pat-In (Rickenbacker)
Electric Spanish Guitar

1940 Gibson ES250

1949 Bigsby Electric Guitar
owned by "Butterball" Paige
It will probably be a long while before the three of these are in the same room again (especially whilst being played by such an exceptional musician).
